Since 2015, the Ultra Boost silhouette has kickstarted a sneaker hype that eventually took over the world by storm. It has gone through 4 different iterations, but the overall look remained the same. Functionality and aesthetics combined perfectly for that perfect good-looking pair of sneakers that everybody wanted.
Created in collaboration with runners, this new 2019 Ultra Boost is made up of 17 different parts and supposedly has 20% better cushioning than its predecessor. Two main differences that you should have noticed by now is the heel cup and also the cage itself.
In my opinion, though the functionality has increased, the aesthetics of the shoe has gone down drastically which will definitely scare off the streetwear enthusiasts who care more for the looks and not the comfort.
A limited edition release of the 2019 Ultra Boost is set to release on December 15th with a global launch slated for 21st February 2019. Stay tuned.
