Adidas NMD R1 celebrates with a Chinese New Year inspired design

All throughout January, you will be seeing a deluge of Chinese New Year inspired sneaker designs churned out by the world's leading sneaker brands. Adidas has always been one of those releasing waves of CNY inspired sneakers every year, and their collection would not be complete without an NMD R1 CNY inspired design.
The colorway is dressed in an all-black primeknit with red stripes. A multicolored Dragon Mask can also be seen embroidered onto the heel. Though you wonder if an animal related to a Pig should have been the better choice since 2019 is the Year of the Pig.
The NMD R1 CNY 2019 is expected to be released on January 19th.
